COOK, Lawrence John. Passed away on the 20th of November 2022, aged 78, surrounded by family. Youngest son of the late William John and Elizabeth Ruth Cook (Waimate North). Dearly loved husband of Dianne and much loved and admired Dad of Wendy and Sean, Sherie and Martyn, Neil and Linda, Daniel, Aaron and Hayley. He was the proudest Poppa of eleven grandchildren. "To live in the hearts of those we love is not to die" Be at peace Lawrence; your journey has ended, and you will be missed forever. The funeral service for Lawrence will be held on the 25th of November 2022 at 12:30 pm, in the Main Chapel of the Morrisons Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson.

COOK, Lawrence John. Born October 02, 1944. Passed away on November 20, 2022. Adored Father of Wendy, Father-in-law of Sean, and Poppa of Christopher and Thomas. We admired and respected you for your strength and fortitude, your work ethic, community spirit, and zest for life and learning. We will miss your kind and thoughtful ways and your humour. COOK, Lawrence John. Born October 02, 1944. Passed away on November 20, 2022 surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of Powley Village Care Home staff. Lawrence's family would like to express their sincere thanks to all the medical professionals who cared for Lawrence over the past 28 months. This includes staff at Auckland, Middlemore, Waitakere and North Shore Hospitals, ABI Rehabilitation, Powley Village Care Home, his ACC Case Managers and the superb team of ACC appointed medical professionals, and all ambulance staff. Thank you so much for your grace and compassion towards Lawrence and your support of us, his family, on this difficult journey with him.
