Lawrence BEDFORD Obituary

Laurie has been my father-in-law for almost 20 years. I'm married to his son Bryce. I couldn't get up and speak at his funeral yesterday, because I am petrified of public speaking. Laurie was always so lovely to me, and I knew he cared deeply for his sons, us daughter-in-laws, and his grandchildren. He was the only granddad my children Nathan (17) & Aleisha (11) have known. He was so special. He's gonna leave a huge gap in our lives. Thank you Laurie for being so awesome. We love you to the moon and back.

Judy & Chris, sorry for the loss of your brother. Happy memories of holidays spent in our baches in Viponds Road in the 1950s.

Our Sincere Condolences to Chris and family on the sad passing of Laurie... a lovely man with a "Jolly Personality" ...that you could always hear before entering the workshop... we always enjoyed our many chats & laughs together.

I am so saddened to hear the new of Laurie's passing. Wish I could be there on Thursday I will be in spirit and watching the live stream. Laurie was the most lovely man, I enjoyed working with him he made me smile.

I am very sad to learn of Lauries passing. He was unique. He was big man, who had a unique sensitivity to others. I enjoyed many a time , listening to great music, with a glass of wine, and plenty of chat. I will always remember his integrity, his authentic character, and his generosity. RIP my beautiful friend Arohanui.
