LAVEA AFEMATA Obituary

Afemata Lavea Sani Faleafulugogo, Taelegalolo'u Mikaele. Passed away peacefully on 17 November 2025. Dearly loved husband of the late Leasino Liligo Afemata (née Eniata). Beloved father of Leota Ana and Fuiavailili Lafaele, Michael and Adele, Tuileva Sarah and Neuton, Taelega Sani, Leota Le Bernadette and Mulipola Maea, Gafaofaleata Pio, Theresa and Mary. Treasured Papa to all his grandchildren. Taelegalolo'u was the eldest child of Afemata Taelegalolo?u Lavea Sani Galovale Faleafulugogo and Ana Fa?aofonu?u Leota, and a deeply loved big brother to his 24 siblings. Born in Gautavai, Sava'ii, Samoa, he also belonged to the villages of Sataoa Safata, Lufilufi, Samatau and Saleaula. He now joins his devoted wife and will be laid to rest with her on the day of their wedding anniversary. His final Requiem Mass will be held at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, ?tara on Monday, 24 November at 10.30am, followed by burial at Manukau Memorial Gardens.
