HARRIS, Laurie. On the 6 July 2021, aged 82. Loved husband of the late Heather Irene Harris; Father of Brett, Dean and Teresa; Father-in-law of Vicki and Sarah, Grandad to Emily and Ethan and loved long-time companion of Robyn. One of life's true gentlemen. Thanks to the wonderful work of those at Auckland City Hospital (Awatea Ward) and the team at Hospital 2, Edmund Hillary Retirement Village. A service to celebrate Laurie's life will be held at St Mark's Anglican Church, 95 Remuera Rd, Remuera on Thursday 15 July at 11am, followed by a burial at Purewa Cemetery.

Dear La. I'm so sad that you passed before I could give you one last Beckman hug. So many laughs in the kitchen and hijinx in the Harris lounge. We will all miss your light and smile so much. I have so many wonderful memories. A strong farewell salute to you for a life well lived. Hope you got your favorite plane outta here and they're playing some decent jazz on an excellent sound system. I'll need the tissues Thursday. Will be right by the side of your gorgeous T. Big love.
