Lauri TAPSELL Obituary

TAPSELL, Lauri Jay. Passed peacefully in Auckland on 25 May, surrounded by her family. Much loved sister of Sherrill, Susanne, Roger and Phil. Sister-in-law of Paul, Sue and Christine. Loved aunt of Leif, Corum, Sarah, Jeremy, Tim, Sam, Faith, Kate, Ellie and Liam. Great aunt to Reuben, Wu, Poppy, Aroha, Ella, Louis and Astrud. Aroha nui Lauri. Moe ma ra. A funeral service for Lauri will be held on Monday, 30th May at 2pm, at All Saints Chapel, Purewa Cemetery, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank.

Lauri was a wonderful, smart and elegant lady. As Chief Reporter's secretary, she was pivotal among news staff of the NZ Herald in our youth. I admired and respected her professionalism, kindness and beauty. God bless Lauri. Sincere regrets to her family. Lauri is gone much too soon. Susan

Beautiful, kind, generous and loving Aunt Lauri, you have been a blessing in Reuben and my life. You opened you home and heart to us when Reuben was just a baby and kept both open constantly.
