Laura DWERRYHOUSE Obituary

DWERRYHOUSE, Laura Eileen (nee Barnes) Passed away peacefully at Caughey-Preston Hospital on Monday 17 November 2014, aged 100 years. Cherished wife of the late Thomas Woodruff Dwerryhouse. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Bruce and Sandra, Trevor and Jill and Shirley and John. Grandmother of Michelle, Craig, Karleen, Christine, Tracey, Sarah, Elizabeth, Seaton and Nathan. Step- Grandmother of Matthew and Lisa. Great Grandmother of Joanna, Sofia, Elijah, Cole, Kaija, Isobelle Sienna, Aidan, Chloe, Carolina and Toby. Always a smile and never a word in anger. We'll miss and remember you dearly. A special note of thanks to all the staff of Caughey-Preston Hospital who cared for Laura so well. A service to celebrate Laura's life will be held at Grange Manor, 400 Dominion Road, Mt Eden, on Friday 21 November at 4:00pm.

My sympathy to Bruce, Trevor and Shirley for the loss of a loved and cherished mother.
As a friend of Shirley, growing up in Helensville, I was often at the Dwerryhouse home. I enjoyed Mrs Dwerryhouse's cheery disposition, ready smile and love of a good laugh.....always busy but always ready to listen.
Treasured and fond memories of a lovely woman.
