Laraine LASH Obituary

Our thoughts are with you as mourn the loss of Laraine. We will always be thankful for the support that your family provided to us during our time with YFC. This friendship and support continued as Laraine and I worked together at NP Library.

We became friends in Form 3 Papatoetoe High School and were very close. She was a lovely person and friend. Full of laughter and always top of the class. I´m feeling very sad as we had lost contact the last few years and I did worry that she wasn´t well, but unable to get in touch. Our group of friends were close, Frankie, Ailsa, Shirley, Laraine we did everything together. She was so proud of her children and when we met it was just like we were still just teenagers. I am so sorry for the family's loss. We also grieve the loss of a special friend. But we have such happy memories, Love Phil and Frankie Letford

Condolences to Warwick and all your family from the Halls at Albert Rd. I know Mum ( May Hall ) treasured Laraine's friendship back in her time in the woolcraft community in Taranaki.

LASH, Laraine Olive Merle (nee Wood). Born June 5, 1946. Passed away on January 26, 2022. (Originally from Papatoetoe.) Passed peacefully at her home in Taupo. Lovely and much loved sister of Pamela Wood (2/139 Te Heuheu St, Taupo). A kind and wonderful aunty to Linden, Cameron and David Wilkie and great-aunty to Jinya Wilkie. We will miss you so much.
