Lance was such a genuine, selfless person with many talents. He was a very good friend to me during my time in Dunedin. Although we went to the opposite ends of the world after university I was very touched that he came to my wedding. An amazing man who I will miss very much.

I am very sorry to hear about Lance's death. I had a lot of fun nights out with him over the years. We graduated together in 2007 i think.

I would like to extend my condolences to Lance's family. Lance was a good friend. Actually - its a bit shocking how few photos I could find, because we did a lot together over the past 15 years! But this one is perhaps a good one, from when he came back home to go to the 2011 Rugby World Cup final. A tense game in the end - but we certainly enjoyed the excuse to get together. I will come up for the memorial service, and look forward to sharing some fond memories. Like you, I will miss him.
