A truly genuine man with a great heart. My condolences go out to Norma and families, it was an honour to know you. My memories of fishing, white baiting, camping and the odd whiskey with you will be with me forever. A gentleman, captain and a chief.

Dearly loved and treasured Pop of Kineta Kana and much loved and respected Father in law of Marianne. How honoured we were to have had you in our lives.Kineta simply adored you from the moment she was born, you were so present in her life and taught her love and respect and gave her a beautiful family to be a part of. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done for us over the years.. I am so happy I got to see you a couple of weeks back, it meant a lot ..Rest Peacefully now beautiful, strong,courageous Lance and know that young Norma is being looked after by the best. You will be forever in our hearts xxx
