KANA, Lance Hartley William. Service No. 9433 RNZN Peacefully on Friday, 23rd May 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Norma. Loved father and father-in- law of Graham and Sharon, Ross and Marit, Tony and Dani, and the late Colin. Cherished Pop to 11 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. A celebration of Lance's life will be held at St Lukes Anglican Church, Te Kuiti on Wednesday, 28th May at 11am followed by a private cremation. Dearly loved and treasured Pop of Kineta Kana and much loved and respected Father in law of Marianne. How honoured we were to have had you in our lives.Kineta simply adored you from the moment she was born, you were so present in her life and taught her love and respect and gave her a beautiful family to be a part of. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done for us over the years.. I am so happy I got to see you a couple of weeks back, it meant a lot ..Rest Peacefully now beautiful, strong,courageous Lance and know that young Norma is being looked after by the best.
