Bob and Ria kindly welcomed me and my sister Janine, as young children into their lives in the 1970s. Bob would always make a point of chatting when we regularly visited, teasing us with his great sense of humour.
In Holland with him twice, I enjoyed hearing his childhood stories and dreams which he saw to fruition. I've always admired his living example of a kind, non-judgemental man. His profound stories have always stayed with me.
Thank you for your care, love and friendship Bob.
Our thoughts are with Judy and all of Bob's family at this time.
