Lambert was a long time friend of the family, and I remember him surrounded by laughter and the ridiculous in his earlier years. He could always put a smile on our faces. I still remember his gastronomic adventures at our meals; chocolate sprinkles on his fried eggs come to mind. His passing is the end of an era. Best love to the family.

Astute, honest, accomplished, and behind a rugged exterior one found a compassionate, humble, and sincere man. In his company you were always with a `real person“. Privilege to have known you.
Rest in peace Lambert

RIP dear Lambert. I never knew him well, he was more like an uncle that was on the periphery - usually smiling. In the later years he took the time to come and visit my Dad, who is a couple of years younger - and that gesture is much appreciated. I am sure he is in blissful peace and love with all the other souls he is connected with.

I always enjoyed hanging with Lambert when I was young - when he visited Christchurch, at Subud camps, and at his house in Howick. He was fun, energetic and witty! I will miss him.

Lambert was the best friend I ever had - I feel lucky to have known him as he often made life worth living whenever I had doubts. I deeply regret his death.
