Laly HADDON Obituary

Hi Sharley,
So sorry to hear of your dear Laly's death, and sorry I couldn't make it to his wonderful Tangi. A great tribute to him, and to you and family. Hopefully catch up soon.

My wife and I last saw Lally, @ 5 year's ago, at Pakiri! Anmd his memories then, of when I played under his coaching in the Omaha Under 17's (@ 1985) were as good & strong as if it were only last week! Moe mai coach/tracker! Pass on my aroha, to my Dad, when you see him, "up there"! <3 <3

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Dear Sharley & Whanau my brother Pat & I came this morning to pay our respects. Unfortunately we didn't get to see you as we had to return to Auckland for work. Dad is currently unwell and couldn't make the trip and our other uncle is away in Australia.

My sincerest condolences for the loss of an outstanding warrior. We enjoyed memorable dinners with Laly eating exceptionally well along with open discussions about anything and everything. Simply, just wonderful friendship from a man of honor. Laly will be missed and my thoughts are with Sharley at this sad and difficult time. The fond memories will last forever.

Graham played for Omaha in 1965 with Laly and Brian was a surfing mate for years up to 1967 and again a filming visit in 1993. Best to sharley and kids

HADDON, Laly. Laly was a long term Member of the NZ Barbarian' Rugby Football Club and will be sadly, missed. The Management Committee and Members of the Barbarians send their deepest sympathy to Laly's family at this sad time.

HADDON, Laly Paraone. Passed away 16 July 2013, in Pakiri. Much loved and respected cousin of Kiri and Deborah Morris, Lynn- Elisabeth Hill, Paula Morris (his goddaughter), and Stephen Morris. Remembered by all our family with love and affection.
