Lai YOUNG Obituary

Young, Lai Yew. Passed away peacefully on 3rd February 2026, aged 93. Adored mother of Eddie, Elaine and Les and their spouses, Brigetta, John and Wendy. Very much loved grandmother of Kieran, Aaron, Madeleine, Max, Jared and Grace. Beloved sister to Joyce and Henry, Carol and the late Arthur. Sister in law to Una and the late Joseph, Lily and the late Owen and auntie to the many nieces, nephews and relatives in New Zealand and the world. A humble, giving and loving woman who will be sadly missed by all. Thanks to the caring staff at Auckland Hospital Ward 66. A service will be held at the All Saint's Chapel, Purewa Cemetery, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank on Wednesday 11th February at 12pm.
