Lady GEERING Obituary

GEERING, Lady Shirley Evelyn (nee Adams). Peacefully, with Lloyd by her side, in the early morning of Friday 1 October 2021. In her 95th year. Dearly loved and loving wife of Lloyd, and treasured mother of Belinda, Gavin and the late Derek, mother-in-law of Stewart and Dona, and beloved grandmother of Thomas, Fraser, Rory, Gina, Hayley and Taylor and great grandmother to Polly, Jack, Theodore and George. Cherished Shirley to Lloyd's family: Johnny and Cora, Judy, Liz and Grant, and to all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Our special thanks to Dr Sara Huse, and to the staff of Bob Scott Retirement Village for their loving care of Shirley. In accordance with Shirley's wishes, a private cremation has been held. Shirley certainly was a sparkling, welcoming personality. It was such a pleasure meeting her, every time. Lloyd and Shirley were obviously so very happy together. I'm so sorry Lloyd. I know you will miss her greatly.
