Kiri MUNRO Obituary

MUNRO, Kiri Rewiti (Kiri) (nee Kingi). Born October 05, 1948. Passed away on August 01, 2023, aged 75. A dedicated and hardworking nurse, who loved working in the Australian Outback. Adored by her grandchildren, Abigail and Jack, her daughter Helen, son John, daughter in law Fiona, and husband John. Died at home peacefully, surrounded by her family after a short illness. The funeral service is to be held at 12pm on 4 August 2023 at the Mangere Lawn Cemetery and Crematorium, in the Chapel, 85 McKenzie Road, Mangere, Auckland. Refreshments to follow. Six candles will be lit at the Chanthaburi Buddhist Monastery, the monks will chant a mantra expressing the merits of Auntie Kiri allowing her soul a free ascention to the heavens.

Our esteemed and highly respected sister in law of Andrew, much loved Auntie of Andrea, Catherine and Edward, Auntie Kiri was an absolute Pillar of Strength, holding the very dear values of the Sacred heart of love and truth both Helen and Andrea been past members of the Baradene alumnae, Cartitas et Veritas.
