Kimiko Yogi Obituary

September 19, 1933 - August 5, 2025 The longtime Gardena resident passed away peacefully on August 5. Born to Takanori and Tomo Yasuda, she grew up in East Hollywood before being incarcerated at Manzanar. After returning to Los Angeles, she graduated from Belmont High School. In 1955, she married David Yogi who predeceased her in 2021. Family and friends will cherish memories of her generous and devoted care for their well-being. Survived by Linda Ford (Mitch Ikemoto), Mike (Judi Kitano), Lori, Katherine, Matthew and Daniel Yogi; Kiyoshi Yasuda (Jeannie), Kazuko Okazaki (Jimmy), Ken Yogi (Joy), Miyoko Yogi, and 18 nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life at GVBC on 9/27 at 11 am. Aloha casual.
