Dear Prue and family.
It was with great sadness that I learnt of Kim's sudden passing and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I have vivid memories of bible class camps with Kim at Somervell Presbyterian church and visiting him at Knox College and Papapkura Military Base many years ago.
I regret not keeping in touch but know he remained a man committed to The Lord and his family. I admired his courage to take a stand on issues of faith even against great opposition. Kim also had a kind and gentle heart for those in need.
He is with The Lord now - well done, good and faithful servant.

I will always remember the warm welcome my son (age 3) and I received when we attended St Andrews for the first time in 1998 having recently arrived in NZ from South Africa. Although our stay in New Plymouth was less than a year, our memories of St Andrews will last forever (thank you Kim, the welcome the first day and friendliness afterwards made such a difference). May you rest in peace.

When we were in New Plymouth we saw Kim as a man of Christian integrity who fought hard for the integrity of the church. He had our greatest respect. Our condolences to the family. Selwyn and Sue Long, Waimate Sth Canterbury.

In 1963 I travelled from Gympie Qld with my brother Lindsay, parents Glady & Horrie Francis, our Grandmother Francis and Alan & Sylvia Bunter. We had the most wonderful Christmas with our New Zealand relatives - Aunty Win, Uncle Phil, and cousins Lesley, John & Kim. Thank you Kim for the beautiful memories. Later my sister Glenise and husband Graham met Kim, Prue and Family sharing more wonderful times. Taken too soon.

When I was a teenager, I spent a lot of time at Kim and Prue's place with their son Andrew. Kim was an imposing figure but he had a gentle heart. He accepted me for who I was as a person and I'll always respect him for that. That home was always a welcoming and caring place for me and any others that dropped in (which were many and often). He will not only be missed immensely buy the family but also by the community. He went by many titles, but one could always call him friend. You will be missed Special K.
