Kim Marie Barkley passed away in Carrollton, Texas, on January 20, 2025 after a courageous battle with chronic disease and in the end cancer. Born in Newark, Ohio, on June 28, 1957, to Richard and Betty (Shobe) Barkley, Kim's life was a testament to the power of resilience, kindness, and the enduring bonds of family and friendship. Kim's life was a beautiful example of love, connection, and unwavering strength. She faced her health challenges with remarkable resilience, never losing her zest for life or her capacity for compassion. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, her love of others (including the furry ones!), and her incredible strength. Kim's Memorial Service will be on March 1, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Unity Church Dallas (6525 Forest Ln, Dallas, TX 75230).
