Kevin SOARES Obituary

SOARES, Kevin Barry. Passed away on Monday 5 January 2026. Loved husband of Kenwyn. Cherished father and father in law of Justin and Rebecca, Scott and Abby. Gramps to Jesse, Riley, Josh, Mia, and Jackson. A celebration of Kevin's life will be held in The North Harbour Chapel of Dils Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany on Friday 9 January at 2.30 pm.

Remembering Kevin from many years ago when my family stayed with his family at their Bach at Arkles Bay, Whangaparoa. He was about 16 and annoyed that he had to get up from sunbathing and looking cool; and get his new swimming shorts wet to save me from drowning after his brothers walked me into a hole and I couldn´t swim out. My 2nd cousin. Condolences to Kenwyn and family.

So sorry to hear about Kevin's passing Kenwyn. We went to the same school, same rugby club and later the same dancing studio. Many happy memories.
He was just a young fellow like me.
