O'BRIEN, Kevin Patrick. MBChB, FRACP, FRCP Passed away peacefully on 10th October 2025, aged 93 years. Beloved wife of Shirley, and loving father of Anna, Colleen and Morna. Adored grandfather of Isabel, Rosie, Daniel, Henry, Matthew, Paddy and Samuel and loved father-in-law to Ross. Our gratitude to the caring staff at Logan Campbell Retirement Village, Auckland. I am sure that there will be many like me who owe an enormous debt to Dr O'Brien as a result of the cardiological and people skills that he brought to his work at Green Lane Hospital in the 1960s. His subsequent battle to achieve what he did for his field at Auckland Hospital has left our city with a legacy that his present family and future descendants may always be proud of.
