Kevin McCORMICK Obituary

To the McCormick Clan,
My deepest condolences on the sudden loss of "Mr McCormick". As your neighbour, growing up, I was always impressed by his attention to detail (washing his company car every morning before work) and endless projects; woodworking, carpentry, trips up to the Whangaparaoa section to cut the lawns every couple of weeks and eventually build on the section. He was always quick with a smile, a hello and chat.

Irene & myself, I extend our sincere condolences, prayers and good wishes to Kevin's Family.

As the first born grandchild of Daniel & Jane and nephew of my mother, Kevin had a close association with my mother in his formative years.

From the time he was a young adult Kevin loyally kept in touch although we lived in a different part of the country and he maintained a friendship with my mother and all of the Cossar family.

It is therefore with great sadness that we learned of Kevin's passing.

We remember very special family times spent with Kevin; a wedding, christenings, holidays at home & far away. His enthusiasm, interest in those around him and love shown to all of us, was so appreciated.
Kevin was a true gentleman. We send all our love to his family and friends.

McCORMICK, Kevin Francis. 1937 - 2023. Passed away peacefully in the New Year. Dear Dad, I wish you safe travels into the heavens. We hope you are already upstairs dancing a wee jig with Mum, dusting the moon. Goodnight, sleep well. Love Annette and James Docking, Chelsea and Paige.

McCORMICK, Kevin Francis. Much loved and cherished elder brother of Marlene, Maureen (deceased), Barry, Paul, June, Daniel, Alan (deceased) and Jennifer. Loved and respected brother- in-law of Barbara, Rudy, Debbie and Sherryn. A wonderful, kind-hearted uncle to all his many nephews and nieces. Kevin will always be remembered for his work ethic, enquiring mind, and for his love of family and friends. He will remain forever in our hearts. Rest in peace Kevin, until we meet again.
