Kevan MOORE Obituary

MOORE, Kevan. Born December 29, 1937. Passed away on January 01, 2024. Just made it to 86, physically weak but mentally strong, a proud Yorkshire man. Kevan passed away 1 January with Maureen and Millie by his side. Loved father of Richard, Andrew and Annabel. A private cremation to be held next week followed by memorial service in February.

Kevin was my friend first and a close work colleague in TVNZ when I was supervising cameraman/studio floor manager for C'mon. Not a man that suffered fools lightly, & didn't hesitate to say so. Those were heady days indeed and I write as one also aged 86 in 2024. The massive success of Town and Around, and the nationwide telethon should have set a never-to-be-changed style for TV in NZ. The workers loved it. The audience loved it. His tv master's voice has ended Farewll my friend
