Kerei Hira Obituary

HIRA, Kerei Te Haupa Grey (Ching). Passed away at home surrounded by his whanau after a short illness. A much loved husband of the late Lucy and Lena and dad of Gilbert and the late Irene, Rangiamohia and Joe, Ritea, Reokore, Greg and Pone, Naumai and Vanessa, Rhonda, Paula, Haunui and Carla, Were and Rachel, Anini and Jocelyn, Robert and Helena, Nolan Tupaea, Grey and Lee Renata. Loved Koro of his 41 grandchildren and 47 great- grandchildren. Tangihanga at Te Kotahitanga Marae. Funeral service on Friday 27 May 2011 at 11.00am. Burial at Rangikariri Cemetery.

Hey Whanau
Tracy Daniel (nee Rautangata)here. Just wanted to pass on our thoughts to you all. Remember Uncle Ching and Dad getting together a few times along with Aunty Lucy. Your family was there for my wedding, all got together and just got stuff done. Will never forget it. Love to you all. I think he is in a better place anyway. He's just sitting up there with my Dad and others having a good old korero. Aroha, Tracy & Family
