Susan and family

My name is Susan Hicks and I worked with Ken in the Faculty of Education at Memorial University of Newfoundland. I was shocked and saddened to hear (only yesterday) of his passing last June. Ken and I were great friends during his time at MUN. He talked often of his family with much love and pride. Please accept my sincere condolences on this tragic loss. Thinking of you all.

Hello Susan, Doug and Bev,

Rob Kelly here, from Memorial University. Just heard the terrible news that Ken had passed away in June.

Not sure if your are monitoring these messages, but wanted to offer my delayed condolences to you and your family. I am in shock.

Ken was the best of colleagues and I really enjoyed teaching with him here at MUN. He was really missed after his retirement. We kept in touch via many emails detailing our various exploits and health challenges.

So sorry to hear this news. All the best to your family.

Aue Susan me te whanau,
Sincere sympathy for the very sad loss of Ken, who was a quiet, but much valued member of St Mary`s church family. When I was on Welcoming Team, Ken`s quick smile and clever wit would be highlights. One Parish Dinner he was a friendly mine host at the tables he and Susan kindly welcomed me to. Ken will be much missed. RIP. Haere, haere, haere atu ra, na, Rosemary Cole

I attended TeKuiti High School with Ken, a very modest & unassuming scholar and loyal friend, he and the late Nigel Brook were a great pair.
