SHORTER, Kenneth Valentine (Ken). On Thursday, 15th November 2012, peacefully at Hibiscus Hospice, after a courageous battle. Aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of Audrey for almost 52 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Leanne and Ken, Desley and Ian. Cherished poppa of Jamie and Alix, Keri and Robbie, Deidre and Ukura, and Maeghan and 2poppa of Tiana, Janessa and Jayden. A service to celebrate Ken's life will be held at The Chapel of Faithfull Funeral Services, 35 Red Beach Rd, Hibiscus Coast on Tuesday, 20th November 2012 at 11:00 am followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Hibiscus Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Heartfelt thanks to Judy, Leonie and Gillian and the team at North Shore Haematology and the staff of Hibiscus Hospice for their wonderful care.
