Kenneth RINTOUL Obituary

RINTOUL, Kenneth Alan. It is with the deepest sadness that we inform you of the passing of Kenneth Alan Rintoul, known to most as Ken. Ken passed away in the afternoon of Tuesday 29th November, at home, surrounded by his nearest and dearest. He approached his brain cancer diagnosis in 2020 the same way he approached life, with optimistic determination and an ambition to beat the odds. We would like to thank all the surgeons, doctors, nurses and carers who supported dad and mum throughout this journey. Ken is at home for those who wish to pay their respects and have time with him privately. We welcome visitors between 10am - 3pm (outside this time by arrangement). His remembrance service will be held on Monday 5th December, 1pm - Waihou Valley Estate - 390 Horeke Road, Okaihau. Following his service Ken will have one last tour of the family farm, before a bagpipe procession carries him through the orchard to the Okaihau Public Cemetery. Parking will be sign posted at 350 and 390 Horeke Road. Squire Funeral Services Ltd Kaikohe/Kawakawa
