Ken was a great blessing to all who get to know him. My son was privileged to be in OLSOS and through his principal-ship, my son has learnt important values in life and gained a personality that will not disappoint Ken.
"Stand tall and be proud", "Be the best that you can" - inspired wisdom flowed from Ken. He truly was our Lord's messenger to our children.
His dedication and selflessness is an example to us all. He greeted the children and parents at the school gate every single morning, rain or shine - and Ken at the sausage sizzle!
I was honoured to be in the BOT and worked with Ken and saw his wonderful sense of humour. His presence brought relief to worrying new parents and a sense of home-coming to returning ones. We will miss him dearly.
Our thoughts are with you, Jane and family. "Be strong", Ken would say.
The visit of this angel has inspired many young lives to walk in the footsteps of a great educator and in the footsteps of our Lord.
Thank you, Ken. We will remember you.

Our deepest condolences to Jane and the family. We are very sad to hear of Ken's passing. Words cannot adequately articulate how blessed we feel and what Ken meant to Zoe, Joshua, Nadia and Abisha throughout their respective 6 years at Our Lady Star of the Sea Primary School. Ken will be fondly remembered as the best primary school Principal each of them could ever wish for. He was ever so gentle, kind, loving and caring. "Stand Tall and Be Proud" was his message to each of them as they were leaving Year 6. Heaven is so blessed to have you home. Rest in Peace Ken.
In our thoughts and in our prayers

In loving memory of our favourite school leader and a special family friend. Ken was the main reason Brandon and Cameron had such an unforgettable and wonderful Primary school care. Always had a smile and an encouraging word for us all, including Shania. It was never a chore to help at the school. It was a privilege to work alongside Ken. Forever inspiring to both Jackson and Brigid as teachers too. Taken way ahead of his time. Never ever forgotten. Our love and prayers are with you forever Ken, and also with beautiful Jane and all her family. Love from the Carter-Chan family.
An amazing leader
