LANGDALE-HUNT, Kenneth Ian. Died on Wednesday 20th April 2016 at Cashmere View Hospital Christchurch, aged 79. Cherished husband of Jackie. Loved father of Andrew, Scott and Grant. Father -in-Law of Denyse, Maylyn and Vicki. Loved Grandfather of Tom, Daniel, Isabella, Madeline, Samuel, Caleb and Jared. Elder son of the late Gerald and Thelma. A respected teacher who will be remembered by many. Messages can be sent to the family c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. A celebration of Kenneths' life will be held at the St Marks Methodist Church, corner Barrington and Somerfield Streets, Christchurch on Friday 22nd April at 2.00pm. Ken was a man of positive flair and utter sincerity. My wife and I knew Ken in the 1990s when we were all on staff together at Linwood HS/College. We were all part of the Friday after school tennis group. Ken's death saddens us all.
