My first encounter with Ken was in Anything Goes for Tauranga Operatic Society in 1993, when Ken played Elisha Whitney. I was just one of the company. The White Caboose they caled me. Ken was always friendly and kind. Then in 1995 I was cast as the understudy for Les Miserables - the greatest show produced by the society ever. This was driven and guided by a committee led by Ken. When Adam had to pull out of being Thenardier it was left to me. Both Iain MacGregor (Director) and Ken ( Chairman of the board) had trepidations. However, it ended up being me. Ken is one of a very few people I will cherish for their support, love and being. Thank you Ken, for being you. Thank you for supporting me when you could, and thank you for everything else that you did. Thank you Ken thank you
