Ken was a great mate and a great help on the chainsaw when we started clearing stumps on a block of land at the Northern Wairoa Golf Club. Nowadays it is a picture with many species of native trees - totaras, rimus, puriris and kahikateas not to mention pohutukawas etc. We also shared memories of his father (my uncle) on his passing. He was a great ambassador to the students of Tangowahine School whom he took for running often on a daily basis. Timatanga Hou special friend. See you later.
