Kenneth BAIRD Obituary

BAIRD, Kenneth Lister (Ken). PDG Rotary NZ and Paul Harris Fellow Passed away 13 March 2022, aged 95. Deeply loved and cherished husband of the late Barbara who passed away 4 October 2021. Adored and treasured father and father in law of Jude and Ian Davis, Paul and Karen Baird. Grandpa of Matt, Tim, Amanda, Lisa, Josh and Michelle and their partners, and Great-Grandpa of 6. The Funeral Service for Ken and a Memorial Service for Barbara will be held at Warkworth Presbytarian Church on Thursday 24 March at 1.30pm. Due to current regulations we are limited to 100 vaccinated guests. Please advise if you are planning to attend (Jude, 021 151 6164). A life well lived, many memories made for family and friends to treasure for years to come. Ken and Barbara now as one, together as they would wish to be, a union of such strength and built on love. My deep sympathy to you all.

Dear Judy and Paul,
our thoughts are with you and all your family.
Having been neighbours and good friends for almost thirty years we are extremely greatful that we could share many happy hours with Barbara and Ken. Even for Christmas we were invited and they let us be part of your family. We will keep all these memories like a treasure.

I know that Bill will join me in sending our condolences to you both, Jude and Paul. We send our thoughts of comfort at this difficult time for you and your families. I always enjoyed our chats at Ww Hospital and I know that Bill will miss Ken who was always sitting nearby.
May your farewell for Ken and Barbara on 24th March go well with many happy memories and stories coming to the fore. I bet there will be plenty. I will not register to attend as I know how limiting the numbers are.
