Dear Jill and family.
Wade and I send our sincere condolences and love to you all. Fond memories abound of those early Tokoroa days and foremost, Keith taking Lindsay out sailing just once (!) and the boat capsizing. Lindsay was out on the trapeze not knowing what she was doing and loving it when things went wrong as she didn´t understand Keith´s sailing instructions. We heard Keith yell "this doesn´t happen to me" as they landed in the water! Thank you Keith and Jill for that dinner invitation 47 years ago when you introduced us to each other.

Our thoughts at this time are with a special family we have had the privilege to share some truly memorable times with, either sailing at Lake Ohakuri, holidays at Patua south to name but a few. Keith had a true love of timber, cutting down and sawing up some of my eucalyptus trees to build his kitchen in Tokoroa. Sailing the R class on the Waitemata harbour and capsizing in front of the Royal Squadron yacht club. Keith was a beautiful friend to me, one that will be truly missed. Bill, Chrystene and family.

RIP Keith, my wonderful friend and work colleague, many sawmillers were lucky to have known you, and benefited from your wisdom and knowledge. I hope we meet again up there, in the great Sawmill in the sky, I'll bring some of Kath's chocolate steamed pudding with me that you loved so much. Our thoughts are with Jill and your family, they, like us, were lucky to have had you in their lives too. Chris and Kath Windley, Hokitika.
