It was with much sadness that I read of Kay's death and also with regret that we had lost touch over the last year or so.
Together with Joan we had a friendship that began at Woolston School when were all in the same class and which lasted through the years until Joan's passing in 2015.
I will remember her for the wonderful meals she so effortlessly produced whenever we visited, her love and care for family, her wise words when we needed a little lift from the stresses of everyday life, but most of all for the laughs and chatter when we were all together.
I have (hopefully)attached a photo of our class in 1947 - however it may have to come separately!
