BEATSON, Kay Joyce (nee Flood). Born February 08, 1933. Passed away on August 13, 2024. Kay passed away peacefully aged 91 on the 13th of August 2024, Dearly loved wife of the late Paul, Much loved mother of Keith and of the late Nina and of the late Michelle. Treasured Nana and great Gran. Forever in our hearts

Kay was my mother's middle school pen pal from the USA and they kept in touch all of these years. We wrote back and forth and I hoped to get to her but Covid interfered and we never got the chance to meet face-to-face. She was a wonderful friend to my mother and we still have some of the sweaters she made us for Christmas of the years.

Rest in Peace Kay
Always very welcoming when we popped in to visit her and Paul in Taupo. Together at last.
Will miss your Christmas and birthday cards. Works of art.
Marvelous that you got to see Granddaughter win with the Mystics.
