BURKE, Katie Ivy (nee Lucich). Eldest child of Stipan and Ani Lucich. Loved wife of the late Ken. Treasured and loving Mum and Mother in Law of Christine and Bernie Hand (Whangarei), Kevin and Karina (Whangarei), Ian and Dawn (Hamilton), Neville and Simone (Helensville) Much loved Nana of Bevan, Nicki and David; Kelly, Matthew, Holly, Kimberley; and Cam, and their partners. Loved Great Nana Kate of Jaymee, Flynn, Ella and Quinn. Mum, you were simply the best Mum and Nana anyone could ever have. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Kauri Coast Rest home staff. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hokianga road, Dargaville, on Thursday 31st December 2020 at 11.00am. Burial will then be at Redhill Cemetery. Sending my condolences to all of the family. When I have thought back many times over the years to the days of growing up in Te Kopuru your Mum and her kind soft smile has always been one of the treasured people who come to mind. Rest In Peace Mrs Burke.
