Katica COVIC Obituary

COVIC, Katica (Katie) (Nona). Katica passed away peacefully on Saturday 30th November at CHT St John's Care Home after a short illness aged 78. Cherished, beloved and loving wife of Ivo Covic for 50 years. Adored Mother and Mother-in-law to Dolores and Ben, Vanessa and Chris, and her youngest Tom. Precious and much loved Nona to Lily and Annie, and loving Teta and Nona to her extended family in Croatia, USA and New Zealand. A treasured friend to so many, she will be sadly missed, but as she always used to say, "that's the life darling". We would like to give special thanks to Kirandeep and the wonderful team at St John's for the loving care of Katica. A service to celebrate the life of Katica will be held at Grange Manor Chapel of Davis Funeral, 400 Dominion Road, Mt Eden on Wednesday 11th December at 10.30am followed by light refreshments.
