A very kind loving mother of a wonderful family. Kath taught us how to dance properly and was always welcoming when we turned up at their place at any time. She was one of the special ladies that Onewhero and the surrounding area were so lucky to have.

My first memories of Kath started in 1959 when our family bough the farm in Kaipo Flats from her mum and dad "Pop & June Coles" Kath was my second mum and as all friends of Kath & Nelsons children we were all taken in as part of their extended family and their door was always open and we received the same love and parenting as they provided for their own children and that love was a legacy that we all have been able to pass on. My sincerest condolences to Mike, Dave, Cheryl, Pete and families. Kath has left me with the fondest memories of love and understanding that will be with me for the rest of my time. So Kath your day is now done, gone is the sun, from the hills, from the sky, from the seas, safely rest god is nigh.
lots of love P J and families

The kindest, most gentle woman I ever had the pleasure of being around. She even taught me how to knit! A precious soul that will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are prayers are with the family.

I have many fond memories of Kath when we were farming on Kaipo flats, & the fond & loving care Kath had for young & old. She would tuck them all under her wing. Those days were the best.
Love to all, Mike, David, Sheryl & Peter. My thoughts are with you all.

I remember well how kind Kath was to my sister and I when we visited Sheryl on the farm. In more recent years I had the pleasure of meeting Kath at David and Sandra's home. She had a wonderfully warm smile and heart. I send my sympathy and love to all her family and friends.

I never met Kath in person, only online. She seemed to be a very lovely person, and was, I know, much loved by all her family.

My favorite memories of Aunty Kath and Uncle Nelson was when I used to go and have school holidays with them on the farm. Loved every minute of it. Aunty Kath always had a cooked breakfast ready when we got back from milking and it's those little memories I have always held in my heart. A beautiful Aunty gone to be with Uncle Nelly. Love you heaps and I will see you in heaven one day.
