Sister Lena, what a journey it took for us to meet many years after our training with the Alan and the late Leilani. We always had a giggle and knew it was all about divine timing. How elated we were to finally meet each other, soul sisters reunited.
We never required to explain what was happening within our lives because we just got each other.
I not only got my soul sister, I also was blessed to be part of your wider whanau. You, Gary and little Miss welcoming into your home. We had a lot of korero and fun. You spoke often to me of your Rata and his family. You loved and were proud of your son and mokopuna.
Your passion for your rongoa touched many lives locally, regionally, nationally and world wide. It was always created with unconditional love for the wellbeing of each and every individual that came your way including animals. I know first hand as it helped Max and he loved it, especially the Kawakawa balm.
You always went over and above helping people heal. When people came to you with an ailment, if you did not have the rongoa to help, you did the research until you found a solution.
You always had a village surrounding and supporting you from all cultures. I was honoured to have met some amazing people and thank you all for being their for our Sister. You will always be remembered for your legacy with Nutrikawa Sister x
To Gary, Lena talked often of how much she loved and appreciated everything that you did for her and the family. The great support you showed her by allowing her to go places for Nutrikawa, she appreciated and keeping your home a safe haven.
Sister, you have done what was required on this earth. You will be dearly missed by us all. You are no longer in pain. As you take your next journey today to your tupuna, I ask Lord that you wrap your loving arms around Gary, Rata and the family as they farewell our beautiful Sister.
Rest in Love Sister Lena xx
