Kate KLAY Obituary

KLAY, Kate (Iris Alice Kate). Of Sevenoaks, Paraparaumu. Passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve, Tuesday 24 December 2013. Aged 88 years. Loving wife of Dick for 60 years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Irene and Terry (Paraparaumu), and Helen and Terry (Vancouver, Canada). Loved Nana of Chris, Leonie, Reuben and Martyn. Thanks to staff at Kowhai Wing, Sevenoaks Hospital, and Ward 4, Kenepuru Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kate's memory to Arthritis NZ would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Kate's funeral will be held in St Paul's Anglican Church, cnr Kapiti Road and Langdale Avenue, Paraparaumu on Monday 30 December 2013 at 11am, thereafter private cremation. I have known Kate for many years - We used to travel to work on the same bus.
They were special years at the Takapuna
60's Up branch. A lovely, kind, gentle person and I will miss her.
