BALLANTYNE, Kate Jillian (nee Murdoch). Born April 03, 1979. Passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024. In her 45th year. Deeply loved wife of Marcus and mother of Jack. Dearly loved daughter of Graeme and Jill Murdoch and daughter in law to Richard and Mary Ballantyne. Beloved younger sister of Jamie Murdoch and wife La Kyung Murdoch and older sister of Anna Williams (nee Murdoch) and husband Matthew. Sister in law of Kate Ballantyne and partner Andrew, James Ballantyne and wife Heather. Loved aunty of Charlotte, Elizabeth, Rose, Maddison, Eleanor, and Mikalya. Niece and friend of many. Artist in all aspects of life. Aroha mo ake tonu atu (loved forever). A private cremation will take place, followed by a Memorial Service to be confirmed. In lieu of flowers please donate to Chained Dog Rehabilitation and Rehoming NZ and/or Bowel Cancer NZ.
