WILLIAMS, Karen Marie (Marie). On February 27, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer, aged 54 years. Much loved and treasured daughter of Lloyd and Pat Williams. Greatly loved sister of Philippa Williams, and Ian Williams, and loved sister-in-law of Adrian Lane, and Corrine Williams. Loved aunty of Daniel, Hannah, Ben, Eden and Jesse Brosnan, and Taine and Kaiya Williams. Also loved aunty of Charlie, Holly, Callum and Jasmine Lane. Missed by her many friends in Auckland, and by her new friends in Otaki. Always loved and remembered by all her family. Rest in peace, free from pain. Many thanks to staff and doctors at Palmerston North Hospital, and Arohanui Hospice in Palmerston North. A Service to celebrate Marie's life will be held at St Silas Anglican Church, 237 Main North Road, Redwood, Christchurch, on Friday, March 4, at 2.00pm. I just knew Marie from our online posts, but felt like she was a good friend. As a fellow bookseller we had some great visits. I felt so bad for her during her long battle with cancer. I will miss her greatly.
