BARRY, Karen Mary (née O'Connell). On 23 January 2024 suddenly at home, aged 69 years. Precious wife of Don for 50 years. Treasured Mum of Dion; Janaya and Donald. Utterly adored Kazza of Neeve, Indie, Beckett, and Arrow. 'Absent from the body, present with the Lord' A celebration of Karen's life will be held at Gateway Church, 950 Victoria Street, Hamilton on Thursday 1st February at 11.00am. Over our time at Gateway we knew Karen to be a strong, faithful and gracious woman who shared from her depth of wisdom and passion for Jesus. Condolences to Don and family, transitioning into a life without the physical presence of one so loved. We pray for an overwhelming comfort to be alway with you.

Don and Karen were our neighbours on Greenfield Drive for almost 16 years. Fantastic people always friendly and helpful. My family have fond memories of Karen and Don as we felt secure in having them close by. My sincere sympathies goes to Don and the Barry Family.
