Karen AVERY Obituary

AVERY, Karen Joy (nee Hawes) Sadly left us on Sunday 20 July at home, surrounded by her loving family, aged 57 years. Beautiful partner of Gary Somner, cherished mother and mother in law of Kylie, Tristan and Carrie and very special nanny to Kane, Summah and Luka. Dearly loved eldest daughter of Colin and Betty Hawes, much loved sister, sister- in- law of Terry and Sylvia, Jan and Harry, Peter and Linda, loving aunty Craig and Rexine, Darren, (and the late Simon), Jamie, Chloe and Jarrad. Special great aunt of Amelia. Donations in memory of Karen may be posted to Waipuna Hospice, P.O. Box 1156 Tauranga 3140. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. We would like to extend a warm welcome to all who knew Karen, to join us for a service to celebrate Karen's life, at St Columba Presbyterian Church, 502 Otumoetai Rd Tauranga, on Wednesday 23 July at 1.30pm, followed by family burial.
