June SHIEFF Obituary

SHIEFF, June Betty. Died peacefully in Auckland on 13 August 2024 in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Bernard (Bill) Shieff. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Jen and Heather, Richard, Sarah and Alex, Rob and Fi. Precious Vramma and Mama of Kate, Octavia, Maddy, Harry and Ben. Loved great-grandmother of Eli, Oli, Spencer, Quinn, Marius and Emmy. June lived life fully and richly, right to the end. Special thanks to the team of health professionals and carers, including the Seniors Outreach Service and the staff of BUPA Remuera Care Home, who kept her well and independent for so long. A service will be held Thursday 15 August, 11:00am at the Beit Olam Prayer House, Waikumete Cemetery, 4128 Great North Road, Glen Eden, Auckland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Forest and Bird.
