June McGREGOR Obituary
McGREGOR, June QSM. 1922 - 2016. Aged 93 years. Dearly loved daughter of the late Kathleen and Gordon, sister of the late Helen, Margaret, and Doug. Special Auntie of Richard and Colleen, Pam and Eddie, Dale and Lyn, Roger and Debbie (USA), Brent and Jill, Kirsty and John, Mark and Shirley, Rosemary, Sandra, Boyd and Sue, Kent, Megan and Geoff, and their families. Special friend and sister-in-law of Babs. Life member of NZ Surf Lifesaving Association and NZ Scouting Association. June passed away peacefully at Te Wiremu Rest Home, Gisborne. Thank you to all the staff for their loving care. June's funeral service will be held in Holy Trinity Church, Derby Street, Gisborne at 11am on Tuesday 5th April followed by private cremation. Please accept my condolences on the passing of June. She was a close and dear family friend of my late parents (Eric and Rae McKenzIe) over many many years. She often came to stay with us in Napier. I have a photo of Mum and June taken at Government House when June received her award.
