June McGREEVY Obituary

McGREEVY, June Veronica. Passed away peacefully on 10 June 2025, aged 86. Treasured wife of the late Terry. Much-loved Mum and Mother- in-law of Tony and Linda, Philip and Sandra, Christine and Keith, Terri and Patrick. Proud Nana and friend to Tom, Callum, Finn, Aaron, Jamie, Mitchell, Cameron, Kaelan, and Lily. Devoted sister and sister-in-law. Special Aunty to her nieces and nephews. A loyal friend to many. As June wished, a private service has been held. She now rests with Terry at Pyes Pa Cemetery.

I am very sorry to hear of June's passing. I wrote her a letter when I heard that Terry had passed. He was my Police Recruiting Sergeant and that affected me greatly. June sent me a lovely letter in reply and i also received one from her daughter. Obviously to me, a fine Family and I wish them all the best of health and good memories of these two lovely parents.

My heartfelt sympathy to all of June´s family. June was a very dear friend to my mum, Frankie for many many years. I know you will all have lots of beautiful memories of your mum.
The McGreevy family and the Owen family were great friends back in New Plymouth. My parents Trevor and Frankie Owen stayed in touch with Terry and June over the many years that followed both in Australia and Tauranga.
My thoughts are with you all xx
