June HOLT Obituary

HOLT, June Mary. 20 June 1939 - 17 September 2025. Peacefully at Tamahere Eventide Rest Home, Hamilton surrounded by her loving and caring family. Much loved wife of John for 64 years. Cherished and loved mother of Carol; Lyn; Murray; Anne and their partners. Adored nana and great nana to all her grandchildren. The Holt family would like to thank all the staff and carers at Tamahere Eventide for the care and love they gave June throughout her time there. A celebration of June's life will be held at Tamahere Eventide Chapel on Saturday 20th September at 10.30am, followed by interment at Otorohanga Cemetery. Sincere condolences to June´s family, I knew a John & June many years ago when they lived next door to the Hewletts in Otorohanga. Daelene Hewlett & I babysat for them a few times in the late `60´s. June was a lovely lady.

My sincere condolences to John and family. John and June were my neighbours at Summerset and I have very fond memories of June. June had an amazing energy, always knitting, baking and looking after John. June had a lovely smile and was always very cheerful. I know that you all will miss June greatly.
