June EHERER Obituary

EHERER June (Nessie) (née Mullay). Of Bluff and Howick, Auckland. Died peacefully on 17 April 2025, aged 88, after a long illness. Beloved wife of Josef for 63 years, cherished mother of Viktoria, mother-in-law of Micheál, and adored Nana of Matthew and Stephen. Much loved sister of Bill and Ian, and of her five other late siblings. Fondly remembered by extended family in Austria and Ireland. June, known to many as "Mrs Eherer" found great joy in her teaching career, which spanned many decades. She started teaching in Bluff, then Papatoetoe and then Howick, with her final teaching years at Mellons Bay School. Rest in Peace. A service for June will be held at Resthaven Howick, Corner Walter MacDonald and Picton Street Howick on Wednesday 23 April at 11am.
