Julius SARGENT Obituary

SARGENT, Julius Arthur (Jules). On 18 February 2022 at home surrounded by his family; aged 63 years. Dearly loved and cherished husband and soulmate of Carol. Dearly beloved son of Alison and the late Don Sargent. Much loved father of Chris and partner Hannah, and Rebecca and partner Brandon. Cherished big brother and brother-in-law of Louise and Graham, and the late Greg. Much cherished uncle of Jack and Lucy. Respected and loved step-father of Perry and Kerry, Mike and Ange, Dean and Julanne. Loved Poppa of Shady, Jaimee, Arnika, Kohen, Seth, Pepper, Taylah, Luca, and the late Liam. Loved by all his cousins. The service will be held at his home, 547 Kara Road, Maungatapere at 1.30pm on Wednesday 23rd February, followed by private cremation on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations sent to North Haven Hospice, P.O.Box 7050, Tikipunga, would be much appreciated. All communications to the Sargent Family, c/- P.O. It is so very, very sad to hear of Julius's death. It feels like another of the good ones has been short-changed, as are we with him gone so young. My heart-felt condolences to you Alison, Louise and all your families. Julius was a dear friend through my teens and twenties and on the odd occasion when we connected more recently it felt as though nothing had changed in that friendship even though our lives had not intersected often. My warmest wishes and thoughts are with you. I will always remember him with great fondness. Julia

SARGENT, Julius Arthur (Jules). Passed away on February 18 2022 surrounded by family; aged 63 years. Cherished son of Alison and Don (deceased), beloved brother of Gregory (deceased) and Louise. Much loved brother-in-law of Graham, and a very special uncle (Uncle Goose) to Jack and Lucy. You leave a huge hole in our lives and words cannot express how much we'll miss you. Many thanks to all the wonderful staff at Whangarei hospice.
