Julainne SUMICH Obituary

Julianne was an inspiring teacher always complex and critical in her ideas about our art-making at Elam. She opened my mind to always find another way to look at things. Especially I think of her when assuming nothing in how others might read my work. Vale! Go well.

I will always remember you Julainne as a challenging, intellectual woman and tutor, who gave me my first introduction to Marguerite Duras. Thank you for your lessons and example. My condolences to your family.
